Dare I say that it’s a ‘79 Capri? This one looks so good slightly lowered like this, and I l ove those TRX wheels.

Back in the day I definitely thought the Capri was the better looking. It didn’t hurt that the Trans Am Capris were great looking.

I’ve always felt this to be the case with the Fox body, even compared to the aero-Foxes ‘ 87-’ 93. (That’s partly because the Fox body T-birds from ‘87-’93 were prettier than the Mustangs.) The first Fox body Capris were Fox body perfection.

If I had stupid money for ridiculous projects, I’d love to do a Capri like this with the underpinnings of an SVO, perhaps with the motor from a current turbo ‘Stang. Lightweight, powerful and could actually handle - what's not to love?
